The Akita 8mm bike lock from OnGuard is a "Minimum Security" lock with a rating of 2 out of 6 on A&J's security scale. This bicycle lock is designed for moderate crime areas. The steel shackle is made from the thickest and toughest braided steel cables which are also the most flexible. A vinyl protective coating covers the cable to help protect the bike from damage. This bicycle lock measures 6 feet long and is 5/16 of an inch in diameter.

This Akita 8mm bicycle lock offers a high level of protection against cutting attacks as well as many other commonly used attacks. Included with each bike lock is 4 laser cut keys, one of which is lighted for use in the dark.
